What’s Going On
Jen is a total boss in all the best ways. She is in charge of her business and she knows how to own the room.
But her business is complex, sometimes difficult to understand, and she doesn’t like tooting her own horn. She needed help presenting her accomplishments in a way is sounded authoritative, without sounding self serving.
How We Fixed It
Jen’s brand voice is Translator. So while she comes from a position of authority, she uses small words and short sentences to get complex ideas across to her audience.
This rewrite was part of a complete website design project and we have worked with Jen on several projects since.
I really got to strap in and hear Jen’s life story, her approach to her work and her philosophy of dealing with tough situations. Jen came out of it with a much clearer understanding of how she helps her clients and how to talk about it in a way that they would immediately relate to.
